I’m from the Bałuty district in Łódź, although I’ve spent most of my adult life in Warsaw, where I graduated from the Applied Linguistics department of University of Warsaw. Recently moved back to Łódź, but along the way I’ve lived in the USA, Ireland, the UK and the Netherlands. I enjoy translating and writing about our travels. I read a lot of documentaries and reportages from Poland and from around the world. Love delving head-first into new situations and places.
Been training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since before it was popular. It’s a big part of my life and I don’t think that’s about to change. Ever since I can remember I’ve enjoyed discovering and listening to music, with a slight emphasis on metal. My favorite albums end up in my CD collection. I constantly tweak and upgrade my old school sound system (although I am not yet investing in super-expensive speaker cables. YET!), and when I’m not listening to music at home, I get my fix at concerts. Through a meticulous process of ordering it practically part by part, I’ve managed to assemble my dream bicycle that I ride whenever the weather permits. Hobbies are the most important spice of my life.
